Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University and Mr. Francis Ricardon, President of the American University, signed a strategic partnership agreement and cooperation in academic and non-academic activities, promoting sustainable academic cooperation between the two sides.

Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University said in his speech that the pillar of knowledge, innovation and scientific research in the strategy of sustainable development of Egypt 2030 depends on building an innovative and creative society, producing science, technology and knowledge within the framework of a comprehensive system to ensure the developmental value of knowledge and innovation by using its results to meet the challenges and meet National Goals.
Mr. Francis Ricardon, President of the American University in Cairo, said that the agreement allows cooperation at various levels of education and development to support the development of sustainable partnerships between the university and the community.
The agreement includes the exchange of academic students for the purposes of scientific research and academic studies, joint research programs, exchange of students on the basis of the transfer of credit hours, personal skills and entrepreneurship programs as well as the exchange of literature and scientific production for both parties and the most important research materials, student support services and extracurricular student activities like participation in community development.
